Easter Pics (and More)

Oh, how I adore smocking and bubble suits! Here's Linc all dressed for his first Easter! (By the way, below this first post, there are two more, including one all about Wendy's artwork, so scroll down!) We celebrated with our friends, and here are their two kids lovin' on Linc. So sweet!
Didn't get too good a shot of Wendy because lately she scrunches up her face when "smiling." Ah, well. She looked cute, too.
We enjoyed veggie pizza, salad, wine and great company. I love this family! They are so dear to us.
Y'all, I made a cheesecake~and James loves it! Colleen helped me decorate it with my fruit. Was delish! I tore the recipe out of a mag while at Cafe Sip N' Play yesterday. T'was easy cheesy!
And at Fred Meyer, I took advantage of this $2.50 deal where you could decorate a simple cake (of course I had to add rings for the girls!)
Our morning Easter egg hunt. It was COLD! Last year it was rainy. Drat! Still, lots of fun watching the kids hunt and gather. So cute! At one point, Wendy yelled out, "COLD! COLD!" And inside we went. With her basket rather full!
Here is the basket the bunny gave her! This evening, I stripped her down and allowed her to smear the new make-up all. over. herself. And after she'd enjoyed it thoroughly, into the tub!
Here is Linc in an outfit he will have worn only once. Boo hoo. He's growing so rapidly!
Don't think he's quite ready for his Bumbo. Watcha think?
My dear, sweet, wonderful Lisa friend with her children and future son-in-law. I hope! It'd be fantastic! I love my time with her, catching each other up on our lives. She's the best. Just wish she were still right down the street!
At my shower for Linc, my friends, the hostesses had everyone decorate a onesie. This is the one my dad did. He should market his sense of humor!
Is it any wonder how I could be so in love?

Twice?
Best friends, off to preschool for their Easter party. Sun was in their eyes, but still, they are too precious.
While we were in Texas, James did some major design work in our bathrooms! I was thrilled! This is the upstairs hall bathroom. He continued this tile work above the sink. Also, he did the floors, painted, replaced mirrors, light fixtures, faucets.
This is the master bathroom. I love the color, a sort of melon. I immediately took a bath after my weary travels, and felt like I was at a spa!
When I married James, I did not know he'd know HOW to execute such plans and I REALLY didn't know he'd have such awesome taste!
Once we got back, I selected this toy as I thought she'd love playing with it during her daily "quiet hour," but it flopped. She likes if fine but she doesn't want it in her room for some reason! Fortunately, she's back to taking a nap, happily, so that is a great relief to me. At their ages, it's just hard to get anything done with both of them awake. You know how it is.
Well, this oughtta catch everyone up on our lives. I hope you're doing well, too. 'Fixin' to check out your blogs!
